Did you notice my candles, in my last post? I'm in LOVE with these candles. They smell fabulouuuus,(I said that in a singing voice), and they are "green", made of soy wax, and from recycled wine bottles. Hence the name "Rewined".
I have to have soy candles because of my asthma. They burn cleaner. My Dr. might say NO to candles anyway; but, come on...I have to have yummy smells in my home. They make it feel homey.
They have wine or spirit flavors for names. We bought Spiked Cider, my favorite, it has an apple cider smell to me. I also bought Merlot...duh! I love my Merlot..."smile". The Merlot candle has a Perfum/Cologne-Esque scent. But, it's not overwhelming at all. Just a nice romantic scent.
I found them at this great shop in Grapevine, Texas called One Posh Place, http://www.myposhplace.com/ The store is fantastic. Really unique items and good prices for upscale decorating pieces. I don't mind spending a little more on something, if I know I won't stumble on the same item in the next few stores. Otherwise, I usually search like mad, until I get it for the least amount. But, these prices are GREAT! The owner is an interior designer and passionate about uniqueness in design and making it personal at the same time. Therefore, making these unique pieces reflect "YOU" in your space. I think home fragrances can do the same thing, they can reflect your personality, much like the perfume or cologne you wear. So of course, she found the perfect candles for her shop & for your home.
Look for "Rewined", they make a great gift for a loved one or the friend who has everything. Or better yet, going to a dinner or wine party? Take these as a hostess gift! All different types of wine flavors. This candle company had such a great idea!
