Do you have Easter fever? I do!
I got all my decorations out and even though there are certain places and arrangements that stay the same year after year, I always try to spice it up or change it up for fun!
This year I added some bling to my faux chocolate bunnies. These were the FIND OF THE CENTURY! I found these at Ross, a discount store, for under $20.00. They had simple paper around the eggs in their baskets. I added a little moss. But the ribbon around their necks came already attached. This year, I added a monogram “H”, for our last name, made with rhinestones, to the boy bunny and a floret of faux pearls and rhinestones for the girl bunny.
For my formal dining table, I took some hand blown eggs that we dyed last year and displayed them on a collection of brass candlesticks. My boys were very happy to see their hard work preserved and displayed. The center piece is an urn from outside, filled with German paper eggs on top of moss.
{You can find these paper eggs at World Market. They make great gifts too, they open and more goodies can be placed inside and then reused every year for décor!}
I tied a simple tassel around the urn to add some softness. Then, I anchored the table scape with traditional Waterford candlesticks given to us as a wedding gift. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and try new things with your conventional items.
Happy Easter decorating and check back soon for even more tips for Spring decorating!
