Valentine’s Day Clothes Ideas For Kids With A Vintage Feel in A Modern Way~

I was tired of searching for Valentine’s Day shirts for my boys and only finding “Little Devil” shirts or almost mean in nature than sweet T-Shirts. Not to mention, that’s IF you can find ANY!

So I made my own!

I found Vintage Valentine’s my boys approved of and picked out themselves and took them to a T-Shirt Print Shop. They had a machine that did it where the image could even be ironed over. it cost me $5.00/per t-shirt at Wal-Mart and then a cost of $10.00/per print. Just make sure if you find them online there are no copyrights.

Not the greatest quality pictures, but you get the general idea. Fun T-Shirts with a vintage flair and they can be dressed up with a button down shirt over them, for the layered look!

Valentine’s Day Design Ideas That You’ll Fall In Love With & Won’t Break The Bank ~

I know…Christmas just ended and New Years Day is not even here yet. But, admit it…your ready for the change.

So while you are out shopping the sales, don’t forget to hit Ross, Marshall’s and TJ Max. They will already have out the Spring Holiday décor.  This is a great time to get ahead of the Spring Holiday’s and freshen up your home for very inexpensive.

HERE ARE A FEW EASY & INEXPENSIVE IDEAS~

I used an angel statuary I found at Marshall’s many years ago, a crystal heart, and book on mythology that had a Story with a picture of Cupid. Simply added a red tablecloth and bunched it to create a fun & elegant tablescape.

Bring the “Love” to the Kitchen Table!

All things I had handy in red. Then, if you don’t have the heart boxes or other Valentine Décor pieces, make your own. A vintage Valentine or one your children made and it makes a fun display to look at everyday!

I found this online~ Williams Sonoma

But if you have time, gather old Valentine’s you have saved from family and friends.

{I even have some my mom saved for me from Pre-School.}

This wreath would be a great way to get them out of the keepsake box and enjoy them every year!

I made these valentine’s for my son’s classmates on year. I found the idea online and they were easy to make. The kids loved them and the parents did too…no candy Red heart

Don’t forget a few cuttings from trees in your yard, with a few red berry sprigs from the craft store, make evergreen arrangements in a vase feel like Valentine’s Day. A nice change from the normal rose displays of the month.

Happy Valentine’s Day & Happy Decorating!
